Blender won't export as XML

I'm fiddling around with changing the character models. I have Lucas' "Import/Export Pure3D XML" installed and it shows up properly, but when I actually try to export the file Blender hangs and stops responding. Did I do something wrong? Is it just Blender being stupid? I'm using Blender version 2.79, if that helps.
