The best part about TSG (Xbox & PS3) is the open world Springfield you get to roam between missions. But unless you play as Homer with full upgrades to exploit the Homerball Speed Boost, there isn't really a way to get around the map quickly, unless you use the fast travel bus stops. Oh wait, my bad. There is no seating at all in the Time Machine, they were sitting on folding chairs. I guess they could have put a folding chair behind the control panel. I just rewatched the scene where they watch the universe come to an end. I was wrong

That's why I save after every run through the sewer, to prevent loss of progress. I've found that it crashes a lot less if you don't move at all after triggering the Sewer Door. Also make sure you don't step on it before triggering it. There is still a chance of it crashing or sending you into the a...

SEWER ENTRANCE CRASH Stay on the ground while triggering the entrance, don't step on any part of the entrance until the cover is fully open. This should prevent it from crashing.
