Thanks for all the answers there. Since I legally own a copy of The Simpsons: Hit & Run on PC (which is what I once bought from 2003 and still have it right now), I'd be interested to know how to play SHAR "CDless", or by applying the no-CD patch. Something like those. Then hopefully this crashing e...

So if the No Audio hack is obvious... Maybe Lucas should delete it from the Mod Launcher and replace it with a new setting instead, like... No pedestrians? Besides, one can still mute the game's audio separately by lowering to 0% of all sound types in the OPTIONS menu, or by muting your audio device...
How's Lucas Cardellini? Is he still around?

I wonder if the Speedometer hack setting in the Launcher will be updated to use the one I've seen in SHAR's multiplayer feature too? For me, it should be that real sophisticated speedometer (MPH) because it's a unique one, rather than borrow the original small white number (KM/H) itself above the ra...

I always play SHAR with all the eight default hacks enabled (Aspect Ratio Support, Bug Fixes, Frame Limiter, Hover Car Refraction, Lens Flare, Resizable Window, Screenshots, and Sphere Map Reflections). Sometimes I play with more other hacks and mods enabled, too. I rarely play with Developer settin...

Yeah I did use the No Audio hack, and that happened to me as well. But even without that hack turned on, it can still occur. Maybe it's just another cause. =/

That's what I tried to do as well, but all I got instead was the "System Information" screen, and that obviously isn't the right one I was looking for. How am I supposed to access this menu seen in the photo here, anyway? ...Or is there not at least some alternative method for finding and disabling...

Oh and also (if I hadn't missed), restore the two unused character models intended to act as pedestrians - the Halloween male child and Agnes Skinner herself. I'd like to see them appear, and even kick them around, too! :D

Oh by the way, Level 1's skybox (mountains, forests and daylight) reminds me of Marble Garden Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on the SEGA Mega Drive. When I look at it, I also have that game's zone music play in my mind.

The blue and red Sports Car A prototypes are especially interesting to me as well. :) And one surprising thing to note, all these beta civilian cars in the parking lots are not actually real vehicles, but are basically props instead. You can get out of bounds and feel their solid models, or hit them...
