Yes, and neither did the "cheat is valid" nor "cheat is invalid" sounds play. I do remember that they did play when I switched the multimedia keys to function keys.

I see. So that's what was stumping me: the order of the bytes of the original file's size in hexadecimal. Everything seems to work fine now! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

So back to the topic about the problem regarding my custom soundtrack. Do any of you mind teaching me and others who might have the interest what parts of an RMS file changes what since accurately editing RMS files "isn't hard" to you?

I once did that method, but it seems to return back to the original/intended theme when I enter or reenter a vehicle, and one of my custom missions involves leaving the vehicle, and this one soundtrack that plays on a certain mission doesn't fit any of the missions. It's kind of the reason why I'm u...

After a bit of testing, I can finally confirm that "No Introduction Movies" was not causing the problem. I'm guessing the reason why I didn't receive that error after disabling that particular mod was because I didn't give the song a chance to fully finish before transitioning to the "main" part of...

I already told you: enabling the "No Introduction Movies" mod along with my mission mod has a tendency to freeze. Playing the mission mod without it doesn't crash the same way. In fact, I...

Ah, I see. Thank you, Jake. Of course, the RMS files are going to be a pain to learn how to properly use, but I'll try overcoming that problem by myself for now.

That doesn't make any sense. Considering that... 1. RMS files belong in the music01.rcf 2. It appears that only the RCF file can be replaced in the CustomFiles folder 3. RCF files cannot be overwritten How could I place those RSD/RMS files inside the RCF file, their respective place? I'm not sure wh...

Are you sure that it'll be 100% useless? Because I was hoping I could replace an RMS file on the music01.rcf file so that a level plays different music on missions that don't normally play such music (for instance, Petty Theft Homer plays music from Operation Hellfish), and when I do so, THEN I'd us...

It doesn't look like the RCF explorer allows people to add new stuff in any RCF file, but I'll have to wait until a tutorial/program that can do what I'm looking for is posted to us.
