You only ever have to insert anything into meta.ini if it's a hack which adds something completely new to the game, such as extra characters. Also, Gordon, what's with the Russian text? I thought this guy could speak English.

They probably beta test it themselves, judging by the dev team's whole silent hype thing for Donut Mod 4 I don't imagine that anyone except them will beta test it.
