A mod where you play as Apu in all levels... not a bad idea. No. No one has ever made such a mod (at least t the extent of my knowledge.).

In Alien "Auto" Topsy Part III, I think that the whole "short timer to get to the school when you are really meant to go to the blue house" is meant to be a trap. If you were experienced with the map then you might give up and restart when you get to the cemetery and there's only 15 seconds left.

Interesting I never noticed this, although it is kind-of obscure. Thank you for taking the time to improve my knowledge. I am considering writing a glitch FAQ for this game for GameFAQs. I may include this glitch (if I make the guide).

Ah. Seems simple enough for when I get the PC game and a decent PC. Why is the round-a-bout one there? It is used. At least in my version.
