Donut Mod

Posted on (10 years ago)

We had an easy mode in development before the release of the last bug fix patch. It just was impossible to balance it and still make it enjoyable. I remember taking out a car with 4 minutes left. Was way too easy. We prefer if the player has played SHAR on PC before and then comes to Donut Mod, that...

Did you press "Reload" button in the launcher after adding this to your Meta.ini file? Also why are you even conflicting the mod "No Introduction Movies"? It seems dumb to block it, no offense. Also have you edited RSD files? If you have, this would be the issue freezing the game and causing the ple...

You don't. You would make the folders RCF explorer shows, put the new file in there. So for example: CustomFiles\conversations\filename.rsd Lucas' Mod Launcher would load that file first instead of the one used in the RCF archive. Making editing the RCF useless and should not be shipped with a mod.

No, you'd place the RMS/RSD/whatever files in their respective places in the CustomFiles folder.

It's not necessary and will never be necessary. Also writing to a file is much different than reading a file, so it would theoretically be hard. You can use Lucas' Mod Launcher to replace these files using the Custom Files hack.

As you can see here, we have a full level select available for level 3. It's actually very close to being finished, we're patching bugs and finishing some bonus content. We changed to the episodic format and now we're just doing updates. We have no set date for level 3, publicly. Though we have one...
