I just installed Opera GX to test your theory and I did not experience that. Opera GX downloads the file just fine

Once you've completed level one, you've completed the mod. You'll need to either play the base game or other mods to play the other levels.

Project Donut Anniversary Edition is a one level mod.

Make the mod a main mod so it has its own separate saves

Don't replace the actual car model, update the rewards file.
