If you're talking about The Simpsons: Hit & Run, yeah, you can download the mod launcher and pick the mods you'd like to use. The Mod Launcher can do as much as custom levels/missions or as little as just making the game work on Windows 10 and adding additional resolutions.

Does your game also crash when you try to use the Elecatarus? Which is unlocked in level 1 by completing the 3 street race missions.

If you're asking for proof of how Securom works, a lot of it has been Lucas reverse engineering the technology. If you're trying to play the backup, you should do a full install of the game to your hard-drive and then use a no-CD crack. Securom, the DRM used by SHAR, does not let you use a mounted copy as a way to prove you own the disc. This is because the Securom checks for the actual thickness of the disc...

So at the risk of revealing too much information, this is something that has been worked on. It currently is a shelved project simply because of the complexity of it, but it is something Loren and I have been really pushing for to extend the possibilities in modding. Right now it is pretty barebones...

AlleyJack, I mean you can download Road Rage Returns and right-click it in the mod launcher and press "Decompile". It will extract all of the contents of the mod, including the car P3Ds
