Again, lots of misinformation in this thread. There is no way to export skeletons or animations at this time. You would have to re-rig the character yourself

Yep. Just download, delete your old files and extract the new ones. Make sure not to delete any mods you don't want to lose.

I updated your title as you asked a general question but singled out one user. You could privately ask them using Discord or YouTube. Nightbane even has his own Discord server you could have asked this question in.
