Don't worry, It doesn't matter where you live, the multiplayer should work. I live in Italy and it works fine. Maybe you have got a wrong port or server name. check that port is set to 7777 and the server is multiplayer.donutteam.com (leave password blank)

I don't know what is causing it.... What do you mean with " i dont have the actual mod"? Download the latest version of it.

You must put the mod in the mods folder of the launcher and select it in the launcher.

When does your game crash? If it crashes when you launch it then it your problem since it doesn't crash to me so it's not a problem of the mod.
