Try some of the other methods for the built in Frame Limiter. Click on "Mod Settings" when selecting "Frame Limiter". There's currently 4 different methods "Waitable Timer", "Sleep", "Busy Wait" or "Sleep and Busy Wait"

Put them in a separate folder away from the Mod Launcher, open the Launcher, go to "Open..." then "Launcher Settings..." and add your folder to this list: Then you'll never have to do anything like that.

Try creating a text file called "CommandLine.txt" next to your multiplayer launcher. Inside it type "-nocurl". Save the file and try again.
