You should just be able to drive thru any object with a car using it. Just tested it and it works. Make sure the mod is enabled in the mod launcher.

The format is XML and the add-on is open source. I'm sure you could make an extension for any program you'd like to use it in another program. Blender is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it, it just takes time and patience to figure out all the keyboard commands.

I know what you're referring to, you're saying more of an open world as seen in Grand Theft Auto, for example. But SHAR is open world by definition, its just more linear in structure because of the amount of content in the game and the design of the maps.
