As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate and reflect on 2024. This year has been an incredible journey, and it wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing support and creativity of our community. From all of us at Donut Team, we wish you a Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and a joyous New Year!
We know it’s been a while since we’ve released anything major, and we want to acknowledge that. Our team is entirely volunteer-based, and while we’re incredibly passionate about what we do, it takes time to bring our ideas to life. We’re hard at work on several projects behind the scenes and deeply appreciate your patience and understanding. Your support keeps us motivated, and we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us.
This year, significant progress was made on Donut Mod. We introduced several new areas, cars, and missions to expand the game’s world and deepen its experience. Earlier this year, we demonstrated some of these features to give you a sneak peek of what’s to come. We’re excited to continue refining this work and look forward to showing you even more in 2025.

We expect to showcase Clifforus' work to you very, very soon™
Alongside that, we’re hard at work on community enhancements like Mod Bakery and the forum rebuild, both of which we aim to update you on in 2025. These projects represent our commitment to evolving and expanding Donut Team to better serve our amazing community.
Regarding things the community has been looking forward to, we know an update to Lucas' Simpsons Hit & Run Mod Launcher has been anticipated for some time. It's something we're continuing to keep in mind as we look to the future and hope to share more news with you as soon as possible.
We can't celebrate the end of the year without mentioning some community standouts.
