Help: put video presentations in the simpsons hit and run ?

Posted on (9 years ago)

Before we begin, I'd like to add that videos for Hit & Run are in 640x480 resolution. This is the resolution SHAR uses by default and you shouldn't go any higher unless you put RequiredHack=IncreasedVideoResolutionSupport in your Meta.ini. If you do this, then SHAR's video resolution support increas...

Help: Change the image of the glass can be broken ?

Posted on (9 years ago)

I assume you're referring to the Krusty Glass shortcuts throughout the game? If that's the case, the game seems to use two separate textures for those being broken. One referred to as "krusty_shatter", and another called "klogobits.tga": The "krusty_shatter" texture controlling the clear shards of g...

Help with changing introduction movie

Posted on (9 years ago)

To add to Jake's statement, by default, the game's RMVs have to be at the resolution of 640x480. If they're not, the game will not play them back correctly... ...Unless you use one of Lucas' hacks. RequiredHack=IncreasedVideoResolutionSupport Putting this in your Meta.ini under the RequiredHack sect...

Questions about SHAR

Posted on (9 years ago)

3. Why are there cars that only show up for missions? Pretty much what Jake said. A couple of the cars you mentioned from a player's perspective are kind of pointless (the Bonestorm Truck is basically the Duff Truck, already sold in Level 1, except even worse). However, I do feel as if there were so...

Lucas P3D editor refuses to load

Posted on (9 years ago)

Pretty simple fix. The P3D Editor lacks an "open" button. What you need to do is find the P3D you want to edit, then drag it into Lucas' P3D Editor. You can then edit it however you please!

Help with making missions

Posted on (9 years ago)

That isn't terribly hard. Here's a really basic way of going about doing that: - Replace the m0i.mfk script with a copy of the bm1i.mfk script named "m0i.mfk". - Open up that script and change the SelectMission("bm1"); to SelectMission("m0");. - Delete the dialog stage at the end of the coped bm1i.m...

Some Challenge Mod

Alrighty then, so apology time from me: You might recall that on page 6 I said the compiler was "fairly stable" on something along the lines of that before editing my post after remembering that you probably used lua for the level and leveli for Level 2. I see now that you're using the standard ".mf...

Some Challenge Mod

It should be. It sounds like something dodgy is going on in one of your scripts, and the compiling is sort of causing that issue to pop up. I actually take back what I said about compiling causing the issue, since Lucas' Launcher doesn't compile lua scripts and leaves them untouched much like an unc...

Some Challenge Mod

Can confirm Gibstack's statement. Level 2 appears to be completely busted at the moment: http://i.imgur.com/YA7FGPm.png To add to this statement, I've tried all three difficulties. All three appear to freeze around the same area (right at the start of the loading screen).

The Simpsons: Hit & Run

What would you like to see in Simpsons hit and run 2 if it would be on the development?

Posted on (9 years ago)

- A day/night and weather system. - A story mode similar to the one seen in the Sonic Adventure series perhaps? You start out with a character, and you can play their "story mode" where you get to see everything from their perspective. Along the way, you'll unlock more characters and basically be ab...
